ENCOURAGEMENT AND HOPE FOR CHRISTIAN WOMEN
AN HONEST GUIDE FOR LEADER'S WIVES
I’m pleased to announce the release of my new book, The Private Side of Leadership, An Honest Guide for Christian Leader's Wives.
My journey of many years alongside my leader-husband has brought experiences and opportunities filled with lots of joy but plenty of sorrow too.
My desire in writing this book is to encourage other Christian women and share the things God has taught me through His Word.
Join me as we explore the seven hidden challenges facing Christian Leader's Wives:
-
Feeling valued and loved
-
Dispelling the Myth of the “Perfect Family"
-
Accepting Loneliness at the Top
-
Overcoming a Discontented Heart
-
Dealing with Conflict
-
Joining the Fellowship of His Suffering
-
Building up or Tearing Down?

PRAISE FOR THE PRIVATE SIDE OF LEADERSHIP
"The Private Side of Leadership is a masterpiece that enters the personal world of a leader’s wife. As the wife of a corporate executive, I would have loved this book for guidance and encouragement as a young wife. In fact, every woman would enjoy and benefit immensely from Linda’s wisdom and counsel."
Catherine Fitzhugh
Corporate executive’s wife and author of Walk with Me: Caring, Living, and Planning Well for Aging Parents
"Although written primarily for leader’s wives, The Private Side of Leadership is beneficial for
any woman. Because she is honest and transparent about her own struggles as a leader’s wife, readers will find in her a kindred spirit who can guide them through and beyond their hurts,
disappointments, and fears."
Cindy Beason
Wife of a retired Air Force officer and Bible teacher

ABOUT ME
LINDA PUE
My name is Linda and I’m a leader’s wife, a mom of two, and a grandmother to seven.
Since we met in college I have served alongside my husband, Alan, in his leadership roles, including as school administrator, pastor, college provost, and now a consultant to schools and churches as President of The Barnabas Group, a consulting ministry to Christian educators and church leaders.
My journey of many years alongside my leader-husband has brought many experiences and opportunities, such as providing leadership for women’s ministries, serving as guest speaker for women’s retreats and banquets, and co-leading couples’ retreats for pastors and their wives. It has been a privilege to mentor and instruct young wives of seminary students, develop an outreach ministry to women professors and faculty wives, and teach Bible studies in my local church, discipling women to develop spiritual maturity in Christ.
These days, I stay busy teaching Bible Studies, supporting Alan’s outreach efforts, and writing. I also love music, reading historical fiction, hunting for antique dishes, and providing beautiful table settings for gatherings of friends and family.
My desire is that my writing will bring encouragement to leader’s wives by sharing insights and wisdom from my experiences and from God’s Word. I want them to find help and hope and know that other leader’s wives understand and acknowledge their desire to be understood as they pursue the life God has called them to live.
